Blue Health: Seaham Hall launches new wellness packages at Serenity Spa

One of Britain’s leading five-star coastal hotels has launched innovative ‘Blue Health’ spa and wellness packages at its award-winning Serenity Spa.

Seaham Hall is known for its world- class spa experiences and this latest initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to harnessing the mental and physical benefits associated with close proximity to the coast. The new packages and treatments have been carefully formulated, taking inspiration from the hotel’s stunning surroundings and the natural landscapes of the Durham Heritage Coast.

Seaham Hall is now offering guests the opportunity to indulge their senses with two new packages, including a special overnight experience in a Suite Sanctuary — one of the hotel’s individually designed rooms — and a spa day experience, aptly named Heart of the Hebrides.

Blue Health Suite Sanctuary Overnight Spa Experience

Guests booking the Blue Health Suite Sanctuary package can experience sheer relaxation as soon as they check-in to Seaham Hall. Guests will be provided with a special map, guiding them to the rugged and natural Seaham Beach, where they can unleash their creative flair with an interactive sea glass experience. Guests can then tuck into a healthy ‘Blue Brunch Experience’ at the nearby Flamingo Cafe, with 20% off their meal.

Back at Seaham Hall, guests are invited to unwind by making full use of Serenity Spa’s extensive pampering facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, Asian herbal sanarium, Zen Garden and more. Serenity Spa’s expertly trained therapists will ensure guests feel revitalised and rejuvenated throughout a relaxing 60-minute spa ritual by ishga; a perfect combination of an invigorating back massage and a refreshing facial, rounded off with an immunity boosting smoothie shot from wellness supplement brand and Seaham Hall’s latest spa partner, Doctor Seaweed.

As evening falls, guests can delight in a decadent five course meal at The Dining Room restaurant, before falling asleep to the calming sounds of Seaham Hall’s expertly curated meditative playlist, designed by health and wellness sound therapy brand, Swell. Next morning, guests can kick start their day with a nutritious breakfast before their departure.

How: Seaham Hall’s Blue Health Suite Sanctuary experience costs from £625 per night, per person, based on two people sharing.

Blue Health Heart of the Hebrides Spa Day Experience

Guests booking the Blue Health Heart of the Hebrides package will be instantly transported to the Isle of Lewis, home to some of the purest waters in the world, healing springs and powerful seaweed varieties. The highlight of this new package is a 90-minute ishga 5 Senses ritual — an innovative face and body treatment designed to harmonise sight, touch, taste, smell and sound to encourage the body into a state of ultimate relaxation. For an even deeper reset, guests can immerse themselves in Serenity Spa’s very own Swell Relaxation Suite, featuring a bespoke meditative lounge complete with sound comfort provided by Swell.

Post-treatment, a Doctor Seaweed smoothie shot will revitalise guests, before they savour a nourishing two-course lunch at Seaham Hall’s pan-Asian inspired restaurant, Ozone. With appetites satisfied, guests can escape back to Serenity Spa to make the most of its word-class facilities ahead of their departure at 5pm.

How: Seaham Hall’s Blue Health Heart of the Hebrides Spa Day experience costs from £295 per person.

Dedicated to the health and wellbeing of its guests, the new Blue Health packages at Serenity Spa are designed to optimise guests’ health and wellness, by utilising the benefits of Seaham Hall’s coastal setting.

The 5 Bubble-rated Serenity Spa is proud to have received top titles at various prestigious spa awards, including Spa of the Year (Western Europe & Scandinavia) 2022 at the World Spa and Wellness Awards and winning Spa Team of the Year 2022 at The Boutique Hotelier Awards, as testament to the innovative treatments on offer, and state of the art facilities available for guests’ use.
