Flexjet launches first of its kind on demand helicopter fleet in Europe
Demand for efficient, convenient and safe travel is on the rise and for high net worth travellers, Flexjet, the premium jet operator, has the solution. The recent launch of their first helicopter provides a seamless point-to-point service for their clients, complementing their existing fixed wing offering.
It’s often the service beyond the main hubs, the last mile, that does not match up to the exacting standards of a luxury traveller. This service aims to close that gap, offering a more personalised service that can deliver clients to the most remote of locations.
Clients will travel onboard the industry respected Sikorsky S-76, one of the most advanced business helicopters on the market, with more than 40 impressive years of safe flight history. Each helicopter will be outfitted with seating for up to six passengers, which feature Flexjet’s unrivalled attention to detail across all its bespoke interiors. From the comfort of the seats, down to the complimentary colour palettes of the plush leather accents, nothing has been left to chance.
The service will be available to existing owners on the long-range G650 private aviation programme on a complimentary basis – Flexjet offers shared or fractional ownership on its private jets. The helicopter will also be available as a standalone service.
The PC Agency set to work communicating this exciting new update to media. We focused on writing a press release for European media that was distributed in key markets such as the UK, France and Germany as well as focussing on profiling opportunities for Flexjet’s European leadership team.
We also organised an incredibly exciting press event to celebrate the launch of this service. Paul Charles, CEO of The PC Agency hosted four consumer media titles from The Sunday Telegraph, Mayfair Times, Money Week and Elite Traveler at PoB Hotel and client of The PC Agency Prestonfield House.
The event consisted of showcasing life as a Flexjet Owner to our media titles, offering them a trip in a private jet from London City Airport before finishing the journey in Edinburgh by helicopter transfer straight to the helipad in the gardens of Prestonfield House.
Prestonfield House welcomed the media with canapés and champagne on arrival before inviting them to unpack and refresh before a fantastic dinner in their private dining room and a spoiling overnight stay.
The coverage achieved by The PC Agency and the media feedback has championed the new helicopter offing from Flexjet. We can’t wait to further showcase the new helicopter product at Royal Ascot 2023.
