Le Sirenuse launches Dolce Vitality wellness retreat in Italy

Le Sirenuse, Italy’s most iconic hotel, has recently launched the ultimate week-long fitness and detox retreat, Dolce Vitality. The retreat aims to transform body and mind, with vigorous hikes, energising yoga sessions, calming meditation, low-impact strength training, and restorative massages. It takes place in Positano just twice a year, in the peace of early spring and late autumn, and leaves guests feeling cleansed, sculpted and rebooted.

Nestled into the rocky hillside overlooking the Amalfi Coast, Le Sirenuse is known for being effortlessly chic; an exceptionally seductive hotel with stylish rooms and ambrosial food. It’s an unbeatable oasis of tranquility and silence, providing the most breathtaking views and the ideal destination for a retreat.

Dolce Vitality provides a bit of everything; fitness, detox, and culture, while using the opulent Le Sirenuse as its base. Guests explore the ancient footpaths of Positano for long hikes, where magical trails traverse lemon and olive groves, past ancient chapels and shrines and climb winding stairways. Guests find themselves exploring mountains, learning life lessons, bonding with fellow participants and making friends for life.

With the support from wellness experts, such as world-famous yoga teacher Elena Brower, leading nutritionist Dr. Paolo Toniolo and health coach Valentina Dolce, guests are very much in safe hands. Each participant receives advice and personalised guidance from a one-to-one consultation with Dr. Toniolo.

The hotel’s Michelin-starred chef, Gennaro Russo, has teamed up with the wellness experts to curate a delicious and organic vegan menu, incorporating plant-based elements of the Mediterranean diet. It is designed to nourish the body and deliver a carefully controlled daily calorie intake with optimal nutritional benefits.

The retreat encourages guests to reconsider their approach to exercise and diet and inspires them to think differently about their lifestyle choices. Dolce Vitality only runs for a week, but the good habits it cultivates can last forever.

Dates: Autumn: 3-9 November 2019 and Spring: 15-21 March 2020.

HOW: Just 20 places are available on each of the two annual retreats (six nights, Sunday to Saturday) at a cost of €6,000 per person, irrespective of whether guests are individual participants in single-occupancy rooms or couples who wish to share.
