Beachspoke adds a charming new Cotswolds homestay

Beachspoke, a curated collection of design-led homestays, is adding to its Cotswolds collection with the introduction of The Old Dairy, its largest property in the Cotswolds to date.

Situated in the beautiful village of Bloxham, just ten minutes away from Banbury, The Old Dairy is perfect for families looking for a country escape. Accommodating up to six adults and four children in four beautifully designed bedrooms, it will be available to book from the 10th April 2019.

The Old Dairy is an attractive house built of old Oxfordshire stone set within charmingly kept gardens. It benefits from a number of original features, including the old front door, which opens up to reveal a stunning vaulted ceiling as one enters the house.

The house has three sitting rooms, including a cosy TV-room, a smarter drawing room overlooking the garden with carefully manicured flower beds and Topiary-lined pathways, and a chill-out room for kids. The attention to detail is apparent throughout the house, from the impeccably designed kitchen, to the atmospheric dining room set just off the kitchen.

Children could not be better accommodated at this property, with a Stokke High chair, high-quality cot and changing table, three separate sitting rooms – two with flat-screen TVs with Freeview, DVD players and a number of DVDs – table football, a table tennis table in the cellar, a well built and thought out wooden children’s climbing frame in the extensive gardens and state of the art trampoline.

One of the major highlights of this property, and indeed to the Beachspoke collection, is the beautiful outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous flagstone tiles. Situated just outside the kitchen, the pool area benefits from a gas BBQ within a lovely seating area, along with sunbeds for the warmer months – the pool is open from May to October.

Bloxham is very accessible from London with plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. There are a number of local pubs within the area which are hugely celebrated, along with various other options such as Daylesford Organic Farm and, for members, Soho Farmhouse. Top local attractions include Broughton Castle, Horton Nook Brewery and the Cotswolds Wildlife Park, home to lions, giraffes, and rhinos.
