The Hut at Colwell Bay closes after record season

Having enjoyed its most successful summer to date – serving over 1000 lobsters every week, selling out of their famous Magnums of rosé, and extending its open season by a month due to glorious weather – The Hut at Colwell Bay has now closed for a well-deserved break.

Reachable by boat, ferry, car or helicopter, Isle of Wight hotspot and long-time favourite The Hut is perched on the water’s edge, with views across The Solent. Its exceptionally delicious and fresh food, laidback Mediterranean vibe and unparalleled location have led this all-day restaurant to be known by locals and Londoners alike as being the spot for the ultimate long and languorous lunch.

With impeccable service from ever-smiling staff, interiors as unfussy as the dishes they serve, the palest rosé and freshest seafood, and views guaranteed to take your breath away, families, couples, and groups of friends are promised an experience that will make them want to stay all day, – and return week after week during the sunny summer months.

Owners, George and Matt Adams are now planning how to make next year bigger and better and preparing to announce some exciting news.

The Hut will re-open on 3 April 2019. For large/future booking enquiries, e-mail reservations@thehutcolwell.co.uk
